Shop under the pecan tree for gifts to thank the hostess, to celebrate life’s joys, or to uplift and comfort an ill or grieving friend.  Choose beautiful art pieces, tabletop items, body care products, jewelry, or something from our large collection of Christian gifts.  For babies and children, choose from clothing, plush animals, books, jewelry, and more.  And while you’re shopping under the pecan tree, you may just find the perfect treat for yourself, too!

In September 2025, we reopened the store in permanent space at the Cheek-Spruill House (5455 Chamblee Dunwoody Rd, Dunwoody, GA 30338).  We are across the street from Dunkin Donuts and next door to CVS and Chipotle.

Our hours change seasonally, and sometime weekly due to personal issues.  Check the "Shop in Person" page for this week's hours.

NOTE:  If you purchase online, the item will be available for pickup in the store at the Cheek-Spruill house during store hours. We do NOT ship.

OUR HISTORY

March 2025 thru August 2025...

After closing the Shops of Dunwoody location, Amanda spent this five-month period getting the Online Shop up-and-running and hosting shop-in-person Pop-Ups.

December 2015 thru March 2025...

Under the Pecan Tree operated as a brick-and-mortar store in the Shops of Dunwoody for over nine years, closing because our landlord wanted a longer term for the lease than Amanda was willing to sign.

With about 950 square feet, the shop was a sort of modern-day general store (think the Olson’s store on Little House on the Prairie or Sam Drucker’s store on Green Acres).  There were products for every member of the family (from infant to grandparent) – primarily because Amanda couldn’t help herself.  If she saw a fabulous product that she thought her Dunwoody customers would like, and she knew it wasn’t available at another store close by, she would order it.
