VIETRI calls this the Ti Penso plate (Italian for Thinking of you). It is part of their Old St. Nick collection, but since it launched, it has been a cherished gift from Under the Pecan Tree customers to their bereaved loved ones.
Front of the plate: Two hand-painted red birds on the front of this little plate.
Back of the plate: "When you see a red bird, know a loved one is near."
Printed message on the inside of the Gift Box lid:
Old St. Nick Ti Penso Plate (Thinking of you)
The red bird is an international symbol signifying the presence of friends and family members who are watching over you with love and affection.
The 6.25" plate is food safe, but many will display the plate on a stand or use it as a trinket dish by the bed, on the dressing table, etc. If using for display, pair with our "5" Wooden Plate Stand / Easel."
Care
Dishwasher Safe - Recommend using a non-fragrant/non-citrus, non-abrasive detergent on the air dry cycle (or econo heat when available). It is recommended to place the dishes so they avoid touching during the high pressure dishwashing and as such VIETRI recommends you do not overload the dishwasher. All dishes should be dried thoroughly before being stored.
Materials
Terra Bianca - A white earthenware clay that is often used for hand-painted designs as it provides the ideal canvas for storytelling, allowing colors to truly come to life.
